Industrial salt for chemical manufacturing
Salt is the starting point for chlorine, caustic soda, soda ash and sodium chlorate. Al Mozan supplies raw and washed solar salt to chemical plants whose brine purification can take a 98.7–99.4 % NaCl feed.

Our salt does not meet membrane-cell feed specification as delivered, and we say so first. Plants with primary brine purification, Solvay soda-ash plants and chlorate producers evaluate our lots on calcium, magnesium and sulphate, and we test each lot against your limits before loading.

Can you meet chlor-alkali membrane specification?
Not as delivered: membrane plants usually need 99.5 % NaCl with low sulphate. Plants with brine purification can evaluate our lots individually.
Is solar salt used for soda ash?
Yes. Solvay plants dissolve and purify salt; solar salt is a common feed.
How do you control quality between cargoes?
Lot analyses before loading and independent load-port inspection, with your limits written into the contract.
